What’s NewWe will be having a visiting student from France for 3 weeks this fall... stay tuned. I enjoyed working along with Danny Foster (former Canadian Equestrian Team (Jumpers) Chef d'Equipe) and Barb Mitchell (Leading Hunter coach). Bevan and Holly Jacks (who rides Darian) both took part in the coach 1 evaluation and were recommended to pursue the exam on October 8 & 9. I need riders who can walk, trot, canter and jump to be demo riders for the coach 1 exam on October 8 & 9. Ontario Horse Trials Annual General Meeting and Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday November 5, 2005 at the Kleinberg Golf and Country Club! It would be a lot of fun to have an Equus 3D table! Check out the details below and RSVP to MH before October 7th. TIME SCHEDULE: Cost is $48.00 a ticket. Cheques made payable to Ontario Horse Trials Association.-NO post dated cheques please . $55.00 a ticket after closing date of November 1st, 2005. Please send list of each individual person to reserve them a ticket. Casual to semi formal attire and a great buffet dinner! Congratulations and Thank YouCongratulations to Natasha Knipping and Maddy Ley who have obtained their Equine Canada Instructor Certification. They are a great addition to our riding school. Best of luck to Tyler Edwards and Bevan Fondecaro who have gone off to University. Thank You to Craig Jackson, Loren Jackson, Alexis Knipping, Wolff Knipping, Hannah Allen, Paulina Ankner and Sidney Jefferson who were great demo riders for the Equine Canada Evaluations and Exams held at the farm in August. This is a great opportunity for all of us to learn and get new ideas. Special Thanks to Linda Wiesner and Maurning Mayzes who helped out while we looked for fulltime help. Welcome to Renee who is working fulltime at Equus 3D! “Zoo News”More cats.... two more cats have joined the zoo. Meg, the shy grey & white who lives upstairs and Butterscotch (Caramel's cousin for those of you who have been here long enough) who was found starving. PT has a new half brother! A new foal has arrived, a colt “Royal Frenchman” aka Roy, by Selle Francais stallion. |
